Hatha yoga is a traditional form of yoga, which includes a basic sequence of breathing exercises, sun salutations, asanas (poses) and ending relaxation.
It addresses the fundamental poses, helping to build a strong base on which to develop a more advanced practice, if desired, and keeps the body's energy balanced.
This is a modified version of a Hatha yoga class, which can include the use of a chair.
Generally, I teach this to students in their 'Golden years', but it is not limited by age!
This is a great way to begin to explore your body's limitations, learn some basic yoga poses, and prepare yourself for floor and standing poses.
